Meet The Team

Chris Long is the President of Long Custom Building and Remodeling who handles all sales and business development opportunities.  He has been in the industry for 25 years and is an expert remodeler and carpenter himself.  He values his client interactions and gets the most satisfaction from seeing his team  make the clients' visions come to life one masterpiece at a time!

Heidi Long is the Business and Design Coordinator for Long Custom Building and Remodeling and is an invaluable asset to the team.  After a successful 30 year teaching career she has joined the team to help with all aspects of customer relationships, scheduling appointments, Human Resources, and many aspects of the design and planning process for our jobs.  

With many years of experience in every facet of running a business, Kristin brings organization, strategic thinking, and a collaborative spirit to her role as Business Controller. She has a keen ability to assess the company’s daily operations, identify opportunities, and implement forward-thinking solutions. Known for her positivity and optimism, Kristin builds strong relationships across the team and always works with the best interests of both the company and its people in mind.

Tara is the in-house designer for Long Custom Building and Remodeling. Tara brings a wealth of knowledge to the team holding degrees in fine arts & interior design. Tara's expertise on interior design and modern trends makes her an invaluable asset to the team. Bringing experience as a showroom consultant, Tara has an eye for all things design!

Mike Fleming is a Pre-Production Manager. He is a master craftsman with expert carpentry and communication skills. He ensures every project is meticulously planned and flawlessly detailed before it reaches the field. He is appreciated on our team for his sharp eye for detail, and proactive problem-solving skills. Mike leads our team in delivering quality, precision, and readiness on every job. He is a cornerstone in our company.

Allan Carranza is a Carpentry foreman for Long Custom Building and remodeling who is multi talented with his skillset.  Allan is the longest tenured employee at Long Custom Building and is the most versatile.  He is proficient in framing, carpentry, drywall and painting. Allan brings a smile to the job sites and a strong work ethic.

John brings patience, kindness, and extensive knowledge to every project he manages. A true team player, he works closely with clients, crew, and trade partners to keep projects on track while fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Driven to deliver the best results, John oversees the job site and helps with in-field carpentry.

Mike Falcone is a talented lead carpenter. He is proficient in trim work, kitchen remodels, and all phases of finish carpentry. Mike is eager to learn, grow, and evolve into a master carpenter. His attention to detail, ability to problem solve, precise implementation of plans/designs, and dedication to exceeding expectations make him rise above other carpenters in the field. 

Bringing a can-do attitude and positive energy to every project, Daniel combines craftsmanship, efficiency, and a passion for learning to deliver exceptional results. With compassion for clients and a drive to grow, Danny takes pride in producing work of the highest quality.

Jake Bertrand is one of the Project Managers for Long Custom Building and Remodeling.  Jake's first and most important job is as a Staff Sargent in the US Marine Corps, but we are very fortunate to have him as a fantastic asset to our team.  Jake's attention to detail, personality, and knowledge of the construction process makes him an effective Project Manager.
